Roaming at the intersection of fiction and reality
These are pencil drawings, and I enjoy working occasionally in pencil, for sketching but also for larger work. The first two here are rather large and took me days to complete. They’re both done pencil with some shading in white pencil for effect (my apologies for the poor photography on the second piece—it’s in a frame with glass that’s cracked across the upper left corner, and I really should take it out so I can get a decent, sharp photo without reflections and glare and the cracked glass showing. When/if I do that, I’ll replace the current image!) The next two are much smaller abstract landscape details pieces, each about 5x7, and the final one on the bottom isn’t pencil but a conté crayon portrait I did of Bob Fabe, my college mentor.
